Thought Acne was gone for good? Well you need to think again, although in some cases women actually find that the change in hormones relating to pregnancy can relieve their acne and often leave them with that "glowing" skin of pregnancy, some women find that their skin becomes more oily and therefore susceptible to acne break outs. However never fear, this is where the high school remedies come still come into play - Wash your face, ensure you are drinking plenty of water and of course try to avoid things that cause you to break out.

Spider veins are another skin issue related to pregnancy and these can often appear on the legs, chest, neck, face, and arms. The veins are caused from an increased estrogen level present in your body. Spider veins are often star shaped and and be slightly raised. Normally they are slightly blue and won't turn white with pressure applied to them. Normally they fade after the birth.

Stretch MarksStretch marks or Striae gravidarum, are probably one of the most discussed of all the skin changes that happen during pregnancy. Its probable that nearly every woman either fears them or at least thinks about them. As for statistics they appear in fifty to ninety percent of all pregnant women, normally they show up in the second half of pregnancy. While most of them will be found around the lower abdomen often they are also to be found on the hips, buttocks,thighs,arms and breasts of women.

These are normally observed as small depressions in around the skin. Often they tend to be pinkish in lighter skinned women, and in darker skinned women mostly they will be a shade lighter than skin surrounding them.
